Odd persistent feeling under my right rib. |
|
I dont know why, it feels like how you do when you drink a lot f water and then go jogging or something.. you know how you can get "cramps" there?
Well the thing is, I haven't done any high-intensity work that would cause this to happen, let alone drank a large amount of water... and it's been a continuous feeling for the past few days.
I know there are some people that have been trained in first aid (I think Daffy taught a course in it?), and I was wondering if anyone knows if something is wrong. I'm just wondering if it could be anything bad, like maybe a burst appendix or a broken diaphraghm, or something of the sort.
Anyways any help would be nice.

Impossible to say... could be any number of things, most of them nothing to worry about. Several guesses I could make, but that would be irresponsible. I'm not a doctor. We've got a few medics, but I think they would all agree with me that you need to call your doctor.
Do you have a family doctor you can call? A Nurse Practitioner maybe, at your doctor's office? If you're still living at home, have you mentioned the pain to your folks? Is the pain getting worse? Aching, or sharp? Can you rate it on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being least, 10 being the worst imaginable pain)? Does it only hurt when you do certain activities or movements, or is it a constant pain?
Are you running any kind of fever? Nausea or throwing up? Any problems or pain when relieving yourself? If any of these symptoms exist, especially if you're running a fever, I'd go to the ER tonight, and get it checked out to be safe.
Otherwise, you should call your doctor or Nurse Practitioner first thing in the morning.

I agree with Dobry you should see a doc for something like this not ask a bunch a people on the internet. for all you know a 12 year old could be telling you a bunch of crap. and I for one trust a doc more than a 12 year old. it might not be anything at all but ask your doc just in case. hope you start feelin better.

It's just gas.
Have that checked out, it very well could be something serious as easily as it could be nothing at all. If you catch something serious (okay semi-serious) early before you make it worse the better off you will be.
