To treat Bee stings take out the stinger using your finger nail or tweezers and clean it with whatever you might have available to clean with. Next gather dandelions from a patch of grass. The part of the dandelions that will be used is the leaves and the stems. Discard the flowers. Grind up the dandelion stems and leaves into a poultice. If you don’t have something to crush them in you can chew them to crush it. Now you can apply to the bee sting to help reduce inflammation and ease discomfort.

i thought this was pretty cool so thought i would share with everyone

no i got it from this site here http://www.ehow.com/how_2119643_use-dandelion-treat-bee-stings.html i am taking a little online outdoors course from this website http://www.natureskills.com the online course is kinda boring but still has some good stuff. and one of the things it says is to look up diff things you can do with a dandelion and thats how i found it.
in Tom Brown's book it says all edible arts are especially good for blood circulation

if you pick the young ones and let them sit in a change of water or two, they are supposed to be less bitter, but yeah, they are rather bitter.
