Found the perfect vest for me, really liking this one. |
|
Hey guys,
so despite getting some crap stolen last night, and getting my lip busted open from a fist fight I had with a table, I found some neat stuff, and have a decent score on some gear.
First off, a shot of everything.
I found a Siliva A-30 for 15 bucks, two fox 40 micros for 4 bucks, a fiskars folding saw for 15 bucks and finally a vest, I think some of you know I have been looking for something like this for A long time now, and I finally found one for 49.99, and a firestarter thats made here in canada, come with a striker and a hunk of fatwood.
In the pouch on the front, and whats hidden in behind on the left side.
In there we have:
30 lumen walmart special, untill I get a good light again
firestarter
whistle
fishing kit
SAK
compass
surgical gloves
garbage bag
tinder
Next on the right side:
We have:
Fiskars
zip tips
bandana
Heatsheet
Ajustable and fits real nice.
So there we have it guys, I was happy to find all I did, The silvia seems pretty decent, time will tell how well it works though. As of right now though its seems very accurate and doens't jump around.
Thanks for reading guys.

'cos it is a fly fishing vest.
I saw that vest at Canadian Tire, I think. I'll be curious how it holds up. I hate "standard" fishing vests as they quickly get too heavy as you load all those pockets, and they're too hot in the summer. A light mesh-backed vest like that with just a couple of pockets is much better as a fishing vest.
This is a YMMV thing, but I hate vests in general, having worn fishing vests for many seasons. I go with a fanny pack instead.
