It's ridiculously easy to make a whistle from bamboo too in much the same way.

Yeah i've seen the bamboo constuction before. This seems a little tricker, i might just have to try it Smile

Great Vid Northern, ive never seen that done. I must try. i like how he got the bark to slide off, good to know.

ya i made two of those today after watching the video to get the bark off you can hit it or i also used another stick and rolled it ontop and pushed a bit and it came right off i think it was easyer than hitting it and both work when finished by the way cuz ya i had to try it after i watched it to

sweet I finilly make a bark whistle!! I kept spiting the bark (most likely because wrong wood) but I made one! that is so cool!! Very Happy

It is paramount that you pull the bark off the smaller end. Otherwise, it will likely split. Smile
