Here is Les' response taken from the site:
Hello, It is with deep regret that I must temporarily suspend the forum. It has been brought to my attention that moderating had allowed a number of very inappropriate posts to remain on the site. Given the fact that there are many young Survivorman/Les Stroud fans visiting the site and forum, and that the family nature of my work is of the utmost importance to me, swift action had to be taken to nullify the situation. The forum will remain shut down until such time that responsible moderating can be arranged. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Lets build this site up again with all the good people we know.
And to all the new people that will join, give use all your knowledge & info on anything to do with survival. And any other topics to do with the outdoors. You know the drill. Let's Build this site up to a great place to hang out & chat with people that share the same passion for the Outdoors.
Cheers Drummer Dave

The old forum is down, but there is talk of a new one.
It can be done one day and Les just might do that.
No confirmation yet, but its in talks.
Tune in for more,
trooper
