Not a chance. Very Happy

If someone never gets a chance to see this series on tv, it would be worth buying the dvd, whenever one comes out.

For those who truly can't wait, and want spoilers:

Last night's episode specialized in surprises for eveyone, the teens, the viewers, and Les included. Before beginning a night of swamp survival, someone who had recently bailed out returned to the show. You might think that since she decided she had made a mistake in leaving, and that since the producers likely hadn't counted on letting a bail out come back, so were doing her a big favour, that she would really make an extra effort to pull herself up by the bootstraps and show that her earlier decision to go home was too hasty. You would be wrong. This leopard wrongly thought that she could change her spots.
Not a lot seemed to happen in this episode, but the half hour went by fast, nevertheless. For once, no one got injured. In the next episode, the challenge will again be ramped up. I wonder if they figured that not enough of the contestants had left, and are trying to get it down to a lone survivor by the end of the series.
I'm thinking that Kareem might just prove to be the ultimate survivor of the lot. There are now 3 other teens, all of whom are comfortable in the wilderness, and have the knowledge and ability to survive. But Kareem is in some ways the toughest of any of them. He is the one who has suffered the most physically and a number of times has seemed like the most logical one to leave. But he keeps hanging in there.

I bet there were some lively discussions before they agreed to it. It looks like they are out to keep both the contestants and the viewers off balance, and this was a good opportunity for that.

It's not a competition, so there would be no reason not to let someone come back after quitting, as long as they asked to come back before the next challenge began. There's no prize here except bragging rights.

Good points, Andrew.
When they are asked if they want to go home, though, I believe it's intended that they are going home for good. I bet they didn't count on anyone changing their mind after saying that they wanted out.

Remember the plane crash episode of "Survivorman" where Les pretended to have a broken arm? Well, Les must have been thinking of that, too. In the latest episode of "Survive This", he split up the two top survival teens, placing them in different, though nearby locations, and gave them broken legs. Okay, he didn't really break their legs (though it must have been tempting to do so the way some of them acted), but one had to pretend to have a broken leg and the other had to pretend to have 2 broken legs! That left the other 2 remaining teens to do the various survival tasks virtually by themselves. The main chore was to get a fire going in each camp, and have a signal fire ready to light in one camp for when they heard the rescue chopper the next day. Les has mentioned before how difficult it is to make enough smoke for a pilot to see, but this fire worked quite well.
It looks like now we are down to the cream of the crop. Les still has more ways to push them further, though.

It seems to me that there are 5 more episodes remaining. The way Les keeps ramping up the challenges, I can't imagine what he has up his sleeve for the rest of the series. Twisted Evil I wouldn't be surprised if he came up with something totally unpredictable, like taking them to a completely different environment, or pretending their rescue helicopter crashes.
