Hopefully I'll be getting this book soon. I say hopefully because I went to Barnes and Noble, and we couldn't find it. Now I reserved it online and they said it's in stock. I'll go in a few day just to make sure they can find it.

If you're ever played one of the games in the series called Myst, this is the book that gives you the story. It looks to be very good. If you're not familiar with Myst I'll summarize. Basically the game is a puzzle game. You have to solve problems, and you link to other worlds by books. Atrus is the one who writes the books, and whatever he writes becomes real and you can link there. There's whole societies that live in them too, but you don't see people in the game.

Myst the Reader

Well I did indeed pick it up today. I was half expecting them to not be able to find it. It's paperback and it's huge. It's about the size of harry potter and the goblet of fire. It's over 900 pages, it's just massive.

Sounds good, let us know how it is!

That might be a while. Laughing Part of the purpose of buying it was to start reading again. I hate reading, but it'll be good for me if I start to read more.

Well I finished 11 chapters so far which is over 100 pages now. It's a fascinating book. There's never a dull moment, and if there is the plot quickly twist and you're enthralled.

Well I finished in about 2 days, the first book that is. There's 2 more books left. The first one was the book of Atrus, and it was 270 pages. It's a really good book. Toward the end you have to pay close attention, because they plot turns and turns. Everyone should read it!

Well I finished the second book. The Book of Ti'ana. This one was the longest of the three, about 360 pages. It tells all about the the D'ni culture and its downfall. It takes place before the first book so it fill you in on some things that happened in the first one. Very good, but it's not a happy ending like the first book. Now on to book 3. Smile

I finished the whole book. The third one took a big twist toward the end, and was really good. Go out and buy it! Razz
