Hiccup treatment |
|
Here's a sure way to stop hiccups quickly. Plus I can take all the credit for the method, because I thought of it. When you have hiccups you want to stay still. Then you breath very slowly and very shallow. If you feel like you're going to suffocate don't worry because you wont. Here's the most important part. You have to relax and just relax your whole body, especially your chest area. If it doesn't work you're doing it wrong.

I've tried various remedies....spoonful of peanut butter, spoonful of sugar....all have worked for me.
Fortunately, I don't remember the last time I got hiccups, so I haven't needed any treatment.

Funny enough, thats actually already been thought of. For years I've been doing it a similar way but it kills them instantly. Blow out all the air in your lungs and hold your breath for as long as you can. When you have to breath, obviously do. It kills them really fast. Another way I've heard of is drinking water from the opposite side of the glass (in other words, your chin is in the middle) and you drink the water pretty much upside down. Yet another way is eating a spoonful of peanut butter (even if it doesnt work... I really, REALLY like peanut butter! )

Drinking from the opposite side of the glass is a great one, I think everyone should try it at least once, in the kitchen or bathroom. And don't forget the camera and to post the clip on here...just in case something happens
