That's the car my dad has... In pieces. After I was born he kinda lost time to work on it, I told him I would help him but now he's think about selling it
Maybe I'll get lucky and he wont though. I really want to finish that car.
I also go to the Back To The 50's Car Show they have here at the state fair grounds. 9000 cars filled it up and more cars came than they had room for. Saddest thing ever happened there though, a car had an electrical problem and started on fire. The whole interior went up in flames, and when the fire departmen put it out it was just hollow inside, and the paint was all flaked off. I felt so bad for the guy because all of his time and effort was gone in a matter of 5 or 6 minutes.
Oh and DrummerDave, I was wondering if you knew what year(s) the roadrunner had the big wing spoiler. I can't remember for the life of me.

Correct part. I bet someone can identify the make, model, and approximate year. Good survival use, too. It could also be used for a shelter, or a heat defector behind a fire. |
Chevrolet Stingray Corvette. Approximate year: 1963.

 | | You're not wrong Flash. The hood is from a 1967 Corvette. The crossed flags logo is visible near the front (pointy) end of the bulge, and the seams around the hideaway headlights can be seen in the lower corners of the photo.
I'd love to have one, but I'll never be able to afford one unless I win the lottery. |
Dang, didnt see that before. I was close though, within 4 years. I thought the 63 because of the flip headlights, didnt know they had them on the 67

My Son and I went to a Classic car show last night with fireworks and all. Here are some of the cars there. I will post more later after I resize them.

See isn't it nice when the hood isn't full of a billion electronic things you don't need, just a motor and a good ride.
