Becker knives

I was just looking up Becker knives, because I was thinking of buying one. They're discontinued!! Confused

Does anyone know when this happened, or if you can still get any? It's like coldsteel discontinueing their Carbon V, it's dissapointing. I'm glad I got a SRK before then, because now they're made out of Aus-8.

OK, I got it figured out now. Last February Camillus knives went out of buisness, and Camillus makes Becker knives. Now Becker has joined Ka-Bar, and they'll start producing them. One curious thing, I went on Ka-Bar's website but couldn't find Becker knives. And all people who sell Beckers are out of stock, and they say they're discontinued. The mystery remains. Confused

No clue, but next time I go to sportsmans warehouse I'm going to ask about them.

I had never heard of Beckers before you posted this, but they sound like good quality. I'm interested in what KA-BAR is going to do with them.

I just emailed Ka-Bar, and asked if they'll produce Becker knives. Hopefully they'll email me back, then I'll fill you guys in. I should have bought one a year ago. Sad

I'm glad I bought my SRK when they produced them in Carbon V. Now they make them in AUS 8A.

Well the Ka-bar people emailed me back quickly. Here's what they had to say:

"It is our intention to come out with the Becker Neck Knife this fall andother models in early 2009 so please check back."
