Carbon Tax

Well here it is everyone, i just got my first check from the Goverment. $ 100.00
I dont know what to make of it ?. its got alot of support & its got alot of negative support......
Its a good thing ? its a bad thing ? ...... Confused

its a new thing to everyone. I just thought i would show you that this " Carbon Tax " is a very real thing here in Canada. Cool

Oh, and gas goes up July 3'rd 2.5 cents. Rolling Eyes

PLease explain what this carbon tax is all about. We don't have this in America. So what ya going to do with all that money....lol Wink

Well to keep it short i'll give the heads up one what its pretty much all about.

$ 100 Climate Action Dividend for British Columbians.
This years Provincial buget is making it easier for British Columbians to choose to lower carbon lifestyle.

Its incentive to go and buy like, compact fluorescent light bulbs.
Money towards a high efficiency hot wter heater, low flow shower head etc.

Its only a 1 time carbon tax check. If they did it once a year that may help but once ?... i dont think so.
The cost of every thing has shot up so much in the last 5 months a hundred dollars doesn't go anywhere.
