I wouldnt mind building one either, but I would want to have somewhere to live while I was building it. like maybe make it a guest house or something.

It's not that hard if you know what you're doing. Smile

Still would be time consuming though if you had to do it on your own, you gotta admit that.

Yes, but I believe it is time well spent. Cool

I want to build a cabin.

I could go for about 400 sq. ft.

Between 22x18 and 24x20.

I would have a Woodstove, and maybe a small fireplace. A small table. 3-4 simple log-chairs. A long bench along the back wall. AOne of the walls would have almost all drawers and shelves for storage of my books and gear.

I plan on being a park ranger. So, while I'm parkranger-ing, I can work on the cabin. I wont cut my own logs, and will use a power saw to notch them, but the rest I do myself.

I've even drawn out plans.

Hey, another Ranger wannabe Smile Good luck dude!

I suggest doing a little reasearch on being a Park Ranger, its not all it sounds like it is. Just do some reasearch.

What are you interested in as a park ranger? Law Enforcement or the Informative type?
