Well here's the pics of the klasslite (right) and the supercat stove. (left) Now you can probably see the advantages I described earlier. I'm not going to use the klasslite stove. I don't have a windscreen though. Do you suggest I make one or buy one?

I made one out of two coke cans. It wasn't too hard. Just think of what you want, how big you want it, and make it.
No reason to buy one if you can make it.

the pocket rocket can only burn on a mixture of Propane and Iso Butane.

I've seen that one in catalogs before.
Those kind don't fare so well in cold weather, but are worth the money anyway.

New stove set up. Stove works ok, kinda iffy. I think I need some fiberglass inside.
Nice flames!

I had to take the fiberglass out because it wasn't working with it in.

I didn't even know they made them that long. What fuels can it run on since it's multi fuel?
And welcome to the forum.

Kelly Kettle |
|
This is a great item. Im going to pick it up in mid september for Hunting season
How It Works
A Kelly Kettle will boil water in three to five minutes depending on the fuel. Made from aluminium it is essentially a double-walled chimney with the water contained in the chimney wall. Once the kettle is filled with water, simply start a very small fire in the base, set the kettle on the base and drop additional fuel (twigs, leaves, grass, paper, etc.) down the chimney. The large internal surface area of the chimney heats the water very quickly. To pour, lift it by the handle and tilt it using the cork chain.
How to Use It
Remove protective cork and fill up with water.
Fill base with combustible material, such as twigs, newspapers or dry grass.
Light fire through the hole(s) in side of the base and face into wind for extra draught.
Insert additional fuel through the chimney (keep the twigs, etc., small).
Use handle and chain for pouring.
Base should be placed on stable, non-flammable surface.
Never heat the kettle without any water in it.
The History of the Famous Kelly Kettle
The Kelly Kettle, also known as the Volcano Kettle, has been widely used in Ireland over the last 100 years. It was the wonderful Irish Ghillies who made it popular and was their favourite method of 'brewing up' for the visiting fishermen as they enjoyed a cup of freshly brewed tea rather than a stewed one from a Thermos flask.
It is completely reliable in the worst of weathers and can safely be used on any outdoor site, including woodland as the fire is contained in the kettle's base.
The name "Kelly Kettle" is the registered trademark of the manufacturer.
Note: The kettle is not designed to be a water carrier, as a few small leaks may occur at the rivet points when new. These will usually seal themselves after use.
Note: When using your kettle for the first time, boil some water, and throw away to remove any residual sealant.
Be Safe
After use pour any surplus water over the ashes to ensure that the fire is fully extinguished.

Very cool. It's just a simple logical design that wasn't overengineered.

Very ingenious.
Thanks for posting!
By the way, how much does one cost?
