Me too. I love their music too. Very Happy

So, one thing we started talking about in my house is getting a steam cleaner, for both the floors and bathroom, not to mention any other household cleaning. Steam can work wonders to get dirt up, with little to no effort on our part. Now I'm just searching for something like that...so far all I'm really finding are carpet cleaners.

I've had good results with this, both on carpets and on the floor of the shower:

You know, I was looking at something like that the other day, but was unsure. How does it hold up? It seems kind of flimsy to me...

How often do you have to wash the pads? How much water does it hold? How often do you have to fill the reservoir when cleaning? How big an area does it clean on one fill? The price doesn't put me off, I'm willing to buy it but had wanted to talk to someone who has used it before.

I had been hoping to find something that also has attachments, to do the walls of the shower and other nooks and crannies around the house.

It's very easy to use. It holds about 3 cups of water in a tank that comes off easily so you can fill it under a tap. This is enough to do a couple of rooms. Once you refill it, it doesn't take long for it to produce steam again. It comes with 2 kinds of pads: washable and disposable. You can presently get replacement pads at the same store (Showcase) where I bought the mop. How often the reusable one should be washed depends on how much dirt it picks up each time you use it. You can use several of them, then wash them in a batch. It seems strong: some key pieces are made of metal and even where plastic is used it's durable plastic. The triangular shaped head gets into corners quite well. I don't think I would use it on walls because of the risk of hot water spilling on you. But if you order it on tv, I think you get a small steamer as a bonus that would work for walls. Watch whatever shopping channel you get and you should see it. It's actually cheaper on tv, but you have to wait for it to be delivered.

Here's a site where you can order it with the bonus portable steamer:

Thanks for the info! I think I'm sold on it. Very Happy

I actually saw it at one of those "As Seen on TV" stores here in one of the malls, so I can just pick it up there and save on shipping. Shipping from the States costs an arm and a leg, plus you have to pay the mailman at the door for a duty charge!

Cool vid. Tannic acid in tea can also be used as a glass cleaner. I learned that from the show "How Clean is Your House." Cool
I just got sun burnt again too. Confused

I was out in the sun today, but I had sun block on, so I don't think I got burnt, but I wiped some tea on my skin. Cool I had the tea already, because I brewed some for glass cleaning. Smile

I don't normally need suntan lotion, kinda weird. I won't burn anymore because I got burnt bad once. Maybe I just haven't stayed out long enough.

Well I've been tanned thoroughly this year, but you'll get burn being on the water for hours regardless. Confused

Better to be safe than sorry SK Cool Use the sunblock now so you don't pay for it later on in life with skin cancer and all... Wink

My grandma was out in the sun a lot as a kid and adult. At the end, she was having cancers burned off every month, and some required minor surgery. When I go out, it's with a long sleeve shirt and a hat.

Yeah one of my aunts works at a skin cancer clinic, and she said a lot of golfers have to get their tops of their ears cut off, and parts of their nose. Shocked
Why can't somebody make the middle easter robes fashionable, because those were meant to keep you cool and protected in the sun. Razz They have many layers for insulation, and they keep your skin covered. Cool
