Fish spear |
|
So i decided to make a fish spear out of a hollow aluminum broom handle, some hockey tape, and 3 squers. I used a lot of tape to make a buffer so the squers wouldnt slide down the shaft on impact and used the tape to secure the squers to the shaft. I figure it is strong enought to not go to pieces when in use, but i will let you know how it works when I try it out. Anyway, here are some pics, let me know what you think. It is just over 56" long.

Is spearing fish in your area legal for you? I think here you have to get a spear fishing license.

Thats pretty cool, I imagine it would be hard to spear fish but a good challenge.
I doubt you need a lisense here in canada for that

It weighs about 4 pounds and is balanced slightly towards the squers... about 6 inches past the middle.

^Just like when you grab the flyswatter, there aren't any flys around anymore.
