Turd; ya they can be turned 360 degress
They turned out better than i thought very simple to make. With out power tools it would take a bit of time for sure.
> The little grooves i put on the plug was to help the epoxy grip to the plastic better, as well you should sand the inside of the pipe. Use " only " Marine Epoxy on this project. 5 minute epoxy is only about 30 cents cheaper & is NOT water proof. So for 30 cents you got a job that will fall apart once wet not a good thing.
The pipe is 1.5" Y-pipe with a 45 degree angle. The total cost with tax was $ 3.76
Im useing Wing nuts for this so i can take them off for storage. Here is BC when there is only 1 person in a boat fishing you are aloud to have 2 fishing rods in the water and thats cool with me.

Alittle tweaking i had to do. I had to put rubber washers on the bottom of the rod holders, they were not getting tight enufe for me, you could still move them with not much effort. They are rock solid now when tighten.
I also had to add an extention, 3" of pipe. The rod just didn't have enufe hold for my liking. So its all good now.

Here we can have 3 lines. My plans were crushed by the regulations. I was going to make one or 2 lines attached to a boat bumper, as a big float. Turns out it's called jug fishing, and it's illegal.
Like the modifications.

You did a real nice job on those, Drummer. Now you can start your next project: a camera mount for the canoe.
