Anyone here use a Bivy sack when they are out on a multiday trip? If so what type do you use, and what do you recommend?

Yeah I use the Outdoor Research Advanced Bivy. It's pretty cool, but I don't like to use it unless I have to. For me, sleeping inside a sleeping bag is a PITA to begin with. I like to move around, and stretch. Inside a mummy bag type thing you don't have a lot of room. But... for when I go out on a backpack hunt I can be miles, and miles back into the mountains. Packing my 8'X10' canvas tent just isn't going to work. The bivy is a great light weight/small space choice. It was designed to replace a tent, and it does it just fine. Although I will say that spending two days in one while it was pouring rain straight up blows! It goes back to the whole not being able to move around a lot. It's a great system to use, and I love mine for the most part.
