Cliff: Day Pack |
|
Very informative to see the pack setups that have been shown so far.
THANKS !!!
Here's mine:
I removed the thin, plastic back support sheet that came with it & replaced it with a copy of it that I cut from an old closed cell sleeping pad. It's more comfortable to carry & I can remove it if I want a soft seat.
Contents:
1: Poncho & rainpants.
2: Mora 510.
3: Outdoor Research dry bag.Contains stuff like Fire making supplies,braided wire,trail tape,sharpening gear,notepad & pencil,plastic zip ties,duct tape,signal mirror,whistle. I call it my "Hell bag".
4: Shelter stuff-Tube tent-8x8 tarp-plastic bag.
5: GLOVES-binoculars.
6: Snacks.
7: 1st aid kit.
8-9-10: Food-Paracord-Spork.
11-12-13: Cup-Water bottle-Map & compass.
14-15-16: Opinel folding saw-Canteen cup & stove-Pot & foil.
Thanks again for posting pics & lists of you gear
Cliff

Honestly these threads on day packs are my favorite on this forum! Cliff I like your day pack and i expecially like your bag. I am still searching for a bag and after seeing some great rucksacks, i've seen some equally good bags.
Cool stuff

Very nice, Cliff.
That Aurora matches the backpack very well.
That's a cool saw, too.
