Hey Turd Cool
I am 100 % self taught lol. I read books from Bill Mason & watched vid's and got great tips from other good paddlers from around here. I bought a canoe and away i went. Im thinking on taking a course this summer, maybe ? Rolling Eyes . I seem to learn more and catch on faster if i teach myself. But with that said, you have to do alot more reading & practice to get the hang of it. Paddleing is not hard at all. White water !? totaly differant.
You better know what your doing, and do it well or big trouble can bit you in your a s s Shocked
I like lakes & very mild fast water. Class 1

Yeah, lakes & very mild, fast water is what a canoe was made for, if you ask me. Cool

If you want rapids, go buy a kayak. Surprised Laughing

If I have time this summer, I'll go on a canoe trip. Cool
