hehe
Good looking PSK, Hunter.
Have you tried the wire saw yet? I ask, because we discussed these here awhile back... my experience with one was that it broke with use. I know Les had a similar experience, as well as a few others on the board. Here's the link, and discussion about an alternative, the "pocket chainsaw"...

You should try out whatever you bring with you in the woods.(with the exception of glow sticks )
The last thing you want is for it to fail when you need it the most. Try it today!
Nice kit, by the way.

I don't either.
That's why I don't carry one. Buy yourself a good pocket chainsaw.

Yeah turd, I did but i got tired of my coat riding up over my case on my belt, so the only things on my belt are my light and knife, the rest is in a "diddy bag" and whatever else is in my pack. But camera cases work awsome.

Hi guys:
This is my basic hiking load:
And its contents:
This stuff goes with me everywhere (Except I leave the Fox River at home when I'm in the city).
Most everything I need in the woods though. I'll have a couple of snacks in my pocket too.
I've probably used the Bandaids more than anything else thanks to the purely massive amounts of thorn bushes around here & the fact that i usually have my 14 year old daughter & at least one of her buddies with me. They can get blisters on their feet in record time

It IS cute , isn't it...
But usefull too.
Why , just last month we were in the mall & I observed an elderly man on the floor convulsing & holding his chest & moaning.
After a quick assesment , I realized that I was obviously going to have to do an emergency triple bypass on the man.
I grabbed one of the gumball machines from the "Gumball Carosel" & smashed it on his head to render him unconscious.
I had the LEATHERMANS blade out in a flash & opened him up.
The next step it the operation,as we all know,is to get through the ribcage.
I couldn't have done it without that help of the cute little prybar!!!
Snapped the old dudes ribs like they were twigs!!!
I finished up the operation in time to notice that a crowd had gathered in front on the Cinamaplex & they were all cheering like they had never seen anything like that before.
But mostly I use the prybar for scraping mud off my boots & prying things apart.

There's a joke about a man and a horse who are involved in an accident. The man and the horse each have a broken leg. A police officer arrives on the scene of the accident, and seeing that the horse has a broken leg, gets a shotgun out of the cruiser and puts the horse out of its misery. He then walks over to the man and asks him how he is. Seeing the officer standing there with the still smoking gun, he says "Oh fine. Just fine, thanks."
If anything ever happens to me and I see Cliff coming, I'm going to say that I'm fine, just fine, thanks.
