So lets say your world comes to a halt and you lose your money, your house, your car... now what? Where are you gonna find a place to stay dry and attempt to stay warm? If it was me i'd try to stay near a wooded area and make a shelter, but if i was stranded in a city i'm not sure what i'd do. It gets awfull cold under bridges, but i think that under an overpass might be ok... kinda really open but at least you'd have something over you. kinda like up where the under structure of the overpass meets the bottom of the "bridge" section if you get what i'm saying. Another option that comes to mind is under a park bench, or in a dumpster (be aware of trash days so you aren't sent to the dump). Also could try to stay in outdoor car wash stations that don't have a gate that closes... ooorrrr maby under someones deck. other then that i'm not really sure where you could go. What do you guys think?

Assuming all that took place, and friends and family wouldn't help me out for some reason (that would be my first step) I would get to homeless shelters for the winter.

Honestly if I was in a city I would first get out. A city is a bad place because everything is very flat and wind is brutal. I forest near a city is probably the place, sort of like a hermit does. Of course savenging supplies like boxes and fire materials is a good idea. I defently would use my creativity, i would see it as a challenge not a problem.
