I gave this a 9, not just because its kind of in my backyard so to speak, but all the terrain i am very familier with.
And that alone gives me a sence of " cool, i was there " sort of feeling.
The weather i no all to well, & how he felt about it & also it giving him a majour pain in his a## with his cameras.
The animals that were in the area are all ones i deal with on my hikes, Grizz, black bear. Though ive never gottin to see a Grizz yet, i know the feeling when on a hike in that kind of area. It is alittle un-nerving at times, but does not bother me.
What i didn't like about it ? ........ i wish he ventured father down the river. And set up another camp zone.
and maybe tryed alittle fishing ! i know theres trout & salmon in them there
waters .

I picked 9 because...
I liked the survival skills he used (shelter, mag glass for fire, slingshot)
I enjoy watching the episode because it is in BC!!!! As for the one point that I took off I thought, like Dave, that their might be fish, I didn't know what kind but I think he should have tried fishing down the river. Maybe make like a make-shift fishing rod or some traps (figure four deadfall).

Not my favorite, but still good. If he had done a little more exploring it would have been better.

I liked the sling shot he made that was cool and his shelter looked snug oh and the fire with the lens I just wonder how did he stand there for 45 minutes to get it going wow great stuff.

I agree with the 9. I particularly liked the shelter he built in this one, which I thought was more thorough than most other episodes. plus he found a number of different wild edibles, which is always good.
I'm not from BC, or Canada for that matter, but am thinking of doing a BC wilderness trip for vacation this summer...so this episode was helpful.

Gave it a 7. Was a good episode. I liked the woods more than the mountain.
