here it is guys it turns out i had some obsidian or some kind of rock that looks like it anyway but it wasnt to big of a piece. after chipping it and actually i broke it a few times haha but i started working a little more close with one piece and made a little blade with it and stuck a willow handle on it now dont laugh to hard its my first time eh Wink Laughing


here is the tool i made and was using to do some flaking. its just a nail that i filed at the end to make it kinda flat and a willow handle

and here are the other little chunks i got

Good stuff Northern.
If yoyu want to tidey up the twin wrap, maybe take it off, and break it down ...
meaning undo the twin to smaller string. Then, if you have 5 minute epoxy or crazy glue, wrap the thinner string around the handle close to the stone. Then put on the 5 minute epoxy or crazy clue.
It will be strong & hold fast. And tidey up your wrapping Cool Smile Cheers Dude, rock-on ! lol, get it ?! ... rock-on Confused

ya i have some epoxy. i just did a quick joby my fingers were starting to hurt cuz i kept cutting them with the little pieces lol. but good idea using epoxy though.ya i will make it look better then post some new pics

ya i cant find any around here either turd
my cousin gave that to me back when i was prob around 8 years old
i used to collect rocks and i still have them all in a box haha so i went to see what i had in there to try out some knapping and i found that.

how is this DDave i took apart the big string to make 3 little strings and tied it again so its not so junky looking
