AWESOME!
I love the post-apocalyptic type survival stories. Basically, Father and Son travel along a road trying to find sanctuary from the bitter cold in a deserted cold world. There are still people left though.. some good, some bad. Almost finished with it, but so far its a really good read. Kind of hard to put down, but with my bad habits of TV and internet, haven't finished since I started last week, hehe. But I know theres going to be a gut wrenching sob section to it... Hopefully it'll end up somewhat decent in the end though.

That's one of my favourite themes, too, along with the castaway theme. (The two are sort of related, as is an interest in survival. Hmmm........ )
The Road sounds good, Bob. Who is the author?

Cormac McCarthy is the author.. And if it weren't hard enough to survive, everything is damp, and dead.. Trees included, no vegetation, no wildlife... nothing.
