Post Bed for my shelter Reply with quote
i made this bed today it took me a while to make i watched the whole king arthur movie lol
its made of cattail stocks what do you guys think? i have never made an actual shelter just forts and stuff when i was younger but i will be making my first shelter this weekend and i know you have to keep off the ground with something between you and the ground so i figure i would make a kind of bed. then when my shelter is done i will stick this bed in it and put some dry leaves on top of it and under it for a bit extra warmth

i used the over under weave to lash them all together

im going to prob add more on to it before the weekend though cuz its still a bit small lol

here it is all rolled up and ready to go Very Happy

cool, looks like it should work, I made one with grasses before, and it was comfortable. If you get enough, you can make one that wraps all the way around you like a sleeping bag kinda
