Boiling Water |

hey guys this weekend i was out hunting and wanted to try boiling water ina 2L pop bottle and i just want to say it works great
you can do it hanging over the fire or once the fire goes down and you have hot coals you cant actually put the bottle right on the coals and damn does it ever work good just thought i would share.

Well, the point is, you boiled water in a plastic container to rid it of the nasty's. Taste is second

If you happen to be lost (Or just want to try it) and find a HDPE container (white plastic like milk jugs), use that instead of the PETE (soda bottle plastic) . HDPE doesn't shrink up at boiling temperatures, but it will soften a bit.
