LOL
I should mention my husband's name is Dave....and his bike is a major, major POS. I doubt anyone would steal it if we put a sign on it to take for free.

I did that with my old bike. It wasn't worth diddly, so someone with no bike could have something to ride.

Ten years? Times that by two and then maybe you'll match me. Actually...more than that but I don't want to date myself too much here..... :lol

lol, ........ you tenashus girl you
Well if you count riding when i was like 8 years old then .......... ive been riding my whole life.
But serius riding, 10 years. And on some of my big rides in the summer when i do about 40 miles ive had some woman
pass me and its not easy to catch them,........ some times i dont
But that just motivates me to ride harder

Well, I did ride a bike when I was a kid too. One of those banana seat bikes. :lol With a basket on the front. Actually, I still have a scar on my leg from when I wiped out on that bike and somehow gouged my leg on the buckle to the basket when I flipped over the handlebars.
For serious riding, I'd say since junior high/high school age. When I was in my 20's I used to just keep my bike in my car (next to my fishing pole) and go riding after work sort of thing. I'll admit I didn't ride as much this summer, mostly because I didn't feel like lugging the bike trailer behind me...it left me too winded. My doctor told me yesterday I have asthma now, so that explains it. From my stupid allergies.
