|
I have been watching Rally since i was a little kid, I always loved this sport.
Just today I found out Colin McRea died in a helecopter accident 10 days ago, I cant believe this, he was an amazing driver.
I bet most of you heard his name before, he was top in rally.

I just learned that the day after McRae's crash, his former team owner, Dave Richards was on his way to the funeral when the helicopter he was in crashed. Richards and his wife walked away.
Given a choice, I'll take a fixed-wing aircraft any day. At least they can glide for a time after conking out, so the pilot has half a chance to find a spot to bring it down rightside up. I've heard that helicopters can actually glide for a bit too. Maybe so, but an airplane can glide further.
