Les on The Late Late Show |
|
I'm sure most of you got this notification too, but thought I'd post it too.
Les is going to be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on September 14 on CBS.
Going to have to tape this one, hate to say it but there's no way I can stay up that late when I'm up before/around dawn most days.
Ok...just realized that's tonight...this is what happens when I post before I've finished my coffee.

I realize how medieval I sound mentioning my VCR.
I refuse to pay the extra $25 our cable company wants for DVR though...

I say we just go back to Beta then!
And if it was cheaper, than I would get DVR...but come on. $25 extra? Stupid Rogers. It's expensive enough with digital cable and high speed internet. My family in VT only pay $5 extra a month for theirs.

Ya, I just bought a new VCR thats has a DVD player too. Its a great combo, I tape stuff with it and I have a camcorder I rrecord everything I want from the VCR to to camera. Then I put i on my ccomputer, edit, sort etc. Then I can make DVDS

We have one of those too, but the VCR part of it crapped out on us. It doesn't play back videos well, like the tracking needs to be fixed but of course that doesn't help.
And I forgot to tape the show last night...was so tired I zonked out during that storm we had.

I just watched my tape of the show. Les was very relaxed (or maybe he's just beat!) and joking easily with the host. He talked about being bitten by a shark, and how the Kalahari week was perhaps the worst he has done because of the heat. They showed a clip of him making a scorpion kebab.

I'm bent that I missed it, but am sure it'll turn up on the net sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

Well, I wasn't here to get the e-mail in time. Not that it would have mattered, because I wouldn't stay up that late to watch it.
I probably would have taped it, though...oh well.

Just going off track a little, but someone mentioned this.
Punching a shark in the nose is the best form of defense, their noses are very sensative and most of the tiem they will swim away

Sharks as well as just about any predator will stop attacking if you go after there eyes. Sharks as a matter of fact roll there eyes backwards when they attack to try and save there eyes in case of attack.

I saw the show it was pretty good. Better than when he was on the View though.
In case you were curious my teacher asked if anyone in the class has heard of Survivorman, most of the class has. That was two classes too.

Funny you should mention that, 2 years ago when I asked my friends if they heard about the show they said "Survivor?" that always pissed me off, it was so unknown. In a way I liked it at one point because i dont follow trends and I always do differnt things. (Or sometimes start my own trends ). These days like everyone has heard of the show its crazy!
