the way i see it the site is busy enough with a good crew of people. New members are always welcome but spammers are terrible!! sure being on google would allow for more users to find it, but it would also open the flood gates for people we don't want here.

Good point.

We do get on average 1-2 every day to 2 days. Some of the are smarter than others but they can get annoying, so your right.

We are on google, just under the old url (the super long one). Its just very low in ratings. However we have went up a lot in the past few months. Yahoo seems to like us though

Yup, i totally agree there. No need for 2000 people which only end up in campfire or dont post.
I like a smaller group, keeps things more focused.

I love this site, the only reason that I chose good, requires some change, is not cause I think this site needs a HUGE change, but I think ever site needs a little change every so often, to keep everything "fresh." Great site though!!! Cool Cool

I had never noticed this poll. Just now voted.

Voted "good, no change".

This forum is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever had the privilege to be a member of.

The members are great, and the mods and administrators are fantastic. supportive, and on top of things.

Wink

Yeah, it comes and goes. Maybe if we Make and Anti-Man vs Wild Forum... Wink nah.... well...

Ok, it might not bring us the attention we need, but it will make me a lot happier! Very Happy I will have to start watching the show just to badmouth him...

Hey, want to start a clan? I despise Man Vs. Wild too, although I watch it for the scenery and the occasional good tip, it's mostly a mass of scripted and fixed garbage. Creating unnecessary, potentially life threatening situations, while telling viewers he's "going to show them how to survive..

Anyway, enough of that. I think the forum is quite good, nice job.

Well ive already voted awhile back but just wanted to say that 2008 is looking good for the forum.
Some new people, and its been clean and user friendly through out. I think with the new word out that Les will be doing { Season 3 } that will be keeping use busy for a good couple of years Smile Cool

Cheers everyone. Glad you got this Forum up & running Troop Very Happy good stuff.

I'm glad you guys like it, i'm still working on trying to get more people here, but I must say I am happy with how things are.

Strange thing is, i went to Les site and even though they got so many people they dont really have that many posts. I remember back there used to be so many per day, can this mean not so many people are into this kind of thing as there used to be?

^ Well there will be those kinds of people that " jump on the band wagon " when its hot & fade away after.
But Survivol will never fade away, its here to stay and a very real thing these days. So keeping active & up to date will always be a never ending pursuit Cool
