Great idea sounds good.
Some ideas for the board game:
- Comes with some merchandies (poster/hat something like that)
- Those DVD board games are becoming more popular it could be in that format since it attracts the younger audience (experically if its a trivia game)
- Game cards that you pick up every time you roll
- Rather than money you have things like food supply

merchandise like a hat or a shirt and i'd buy like 12 of them LOL. yea a game piece you pick up would be good. what about if you got points for getting questions right and lost points for ones you got wrong. then with your points you bought tools like a multitool/saw/axe/fire staters/rope and with certain combinations of tools you could make shelters/food gathering materials/etc?

Sounds good (points) depending on how many you get, will determin what type of tools you can use. The more you get the better items you get, the easier it is to win.

It would a lot of fun! You could gather points and use those point to keep a fire going (IE add wood), improve your shelter, and gather food. So then if you got a question wrong your penalty would be "loose three logs" once you were out of logs you would be docked in other areas like your shelter points, and vice versa for the other points. Once you are out of points your dead. I like the trivia type games. Maybe with questions like "three ways to purify water" or "three ways to start a fire."

tel, are the questions half decent? i know it says some are for fun but the ones that are about survival, are they any good? I want to buy this game. If Les made one I would most defonatly buy it too (as it would probably have elements from the show as well as survival).

I think a Survivorman video game could be fun, especially is based on a platform like Oblivion or Morrowind.

haha very nice, a gamer girl, not alot around
That is very true something with some RPG elements. Find away to get some known knives in there and I would be happy.
I think it would be good for folks who cant get out like most of us, people in the citys and those who dont have a forest to explore.

Yeah, I like to game.
There can be a happy medium with gaming I think. It's not like I sit in front of the TV half the day playing video games...though I'll admit that has happened before. Especially with some of those huge RPGs like Oblivion. Give me a hack and slash game with swords and armor and I'm one happy camper.

Well...those are hands down some of my favorite video games.
Dave, it looks awesome and I will keep my eyes peeled, although I don't play too many computer games. Mostly because the desktop computer and is set up for gaming is upstairs, while my wireless laptop is downstairs and the video card on it isn't the best. I'm downstairs most of the time type thing.
