The flames would probably destroy too much of the capsaicin and limit the range of the spray (no fun!)...You could make the entire mexican army's dinners too spicy with a single can of that stuff....The propellant is probably propane or propane based.

Too bad. 
I could just picture Daffy lighting a stream of pepper spray and the bear running away on fire.
