Gave it a 9 because it was great.
- Good use of items
- Well made shelter for the rain
- Good use of items to catch food/gather water
It lost a point for:
- Making a fish hook line and not talking about it once he set it up, and he didnt say what the name of the tree the roots were from.
Otherwise really cool!

9.5
It lost a half-point for the reasons Troop mentioned above.
Other than that, I think it might even be better than Africa.

I think I have to agree with you, my point would be 9.5 if that was an option, this was such a cool episode.

I thought it wasn't that bad at all, I gave it a 9, it just lost a point because he didn't really start a fire using primitive methods or buil a shelter but other than that it was a good episode

I think the point is to use what you have available at the time. I have to agree about the fishing lines, why didn't he mention them? Good episode I'll give her a 8.

I dont know why but I do have a guess. I notice he does much more in season 2 at once, causing him to lose intrest or fade away from previous activities.

I gave it 10 because this time he got a good amount of food, showed how to turn a boat into a shelter, good rain catch, and he at least attempted fishing. He did better than most episodes.

I agree in that aspect. In terms of actual surivval he did very well, expecially in food. he probably had more food than any other episode next to the swamps

I gave it an 8.
It was good but i guess i just dont like the whole Island thing . And it seemed to me that Les was more kind'a kicked back & just waiting for the 7 days to end so he could go, no real hardship in this episode, IMO.
I like it where Les is working for it, and hurting alittle, lol.

Yeah, it wasn't much of a challenge.
It was still good.

Yes but I think that was the point. Some locations are easier than others, like you cant compare the arctic to the desert island. Not all places are equally easy, that dosent mean you should kick back and do nothing though. You should have the same mentallity in both, always be in survival mode.

The first time I saw it, I was wondering how long he was going to keep from making some kind of joke.
