Here are my older shelters I made in the past for those who haven't seen them yet.

Dont worry I am planning on making new ones once I get some free time. I was able to make that tarp shelter so it is not too bad.

Here are the shelters I actaully photographed.

2005

2006

Most of them are not actually done.

here is acctually the same shelter, well same area. It just got larger. This was the basic lean to that evolved into a two person lean to, now it is a three person lean to but its soon to be roofed over into a sort of caban. Pics of the three person lean to comign shortly.

The ice storm was pretty intense many trees got flattend, the storm sure left a path of destruction.

Here are some of my shelter pics, I rebuild the tarp one, just make it better and finished it.

The fire worked great, it was very hot inside by the end, but the fire was hard to to keep going with the previous rain we had.

Its nothing special compare to the last, pretty much the same just finished this time.

Oh and a branch feel off a tree and landed on the shelter while I was making pictures, darn thing tried to assassinate me

just took it down today, it held up great even with pretty strong wind out there.

cool little shelter, best part about is if you got a fire its actually hot inside, the heat stays in great.

Made this 2 winters ago with a friend of mine. Took a couple hours (like 5) and the two of us working constantly. Was big enuff for the 2 of us to lay down comfortably and was quite warm inside. Never did stay the night in it thoe. We had a blizzard after building it and it held up with over a foot of extra snow and gail force winds.

and a shot from the inside to show you how we made the roof stay up.

i was thinking about it but the wind is blowing so hard right now that I'm afraid the trees are gonna blow down.... here is a pick of the inside...its very warm inside but I'm postponing then camp out till next week. Sad

i am going to wait until it is calm outside..

i just made the shelter and i still want to make it extra airtight inside.
