The hot air balloon torch was cool. And I think that the first animal he heard was a lion. It sounded like the call they make to alert where they are.

Nice, I can't wait to get off! 2 more hours of "work" to go Wink

How come it's not posted on youtube yet? HEHE, JK!

I just hope my power doesn't go out like yesterday as it was off for about 12 hours (4 hours, then on for 1 hour, then off for another 6 or 8 hours or so) and if the show had been on last night I would have missed it because of that!

I nearly fell out of my chair when Les played his harmonica after he heard that noise. Shocked Laughing

If the Labrador episode had lasted the full 7 days it would be the best, but the African Plains was surprisingly interesting. Surprised I wasn't expecting that much out of it. Very Happy

His fire-starting method was awesome. Very Happy Stroud the Innovator. Cool

I almost cried when they didn't show a preview for next week. Shocked Crying or Very sad I hope the next one airs next Friday. Sad

It really was a very cool episode. It was interesting just how many animals he saw. And large one too. I mean I have never seen that in any other episodes.

its was awesome, this episode was much more "season 1" material, which I like. Not as emotionally inovolved as the other areas although the animals still give you a scare here and there.

These episodes are great but there is 1 thing I havnt seen in any of the episodes in this season which disapoints me. He has a means of escape at the end but in all reality thats not always possible. I think having at least 1 form of Signal would be a good idea. There are planes that fly in those areas so why not?

He used the postasium permamate (SP?) and gycerin which Ray mears uses in a jungle episode. I was gonna suggest that to him but I like to try the experimient myself before I say. I couldn find any of that kind of potassium (I didnt search very hard though).

I tried to look for that stuff (I can find glycirin). The Potassium-P chemical is a controlled substance because it can be used for drug labs. So you will not find it in the USA. Maybe other countries.

This was a pretty great episode, I agree with Troop that it's much better without the whining and constantly stating where he's surviving. I think by the fourth episode he was getting back in the groove and i hope the next episodes are just as good. The fake animal sounds are kind of lame though.
