Anyone here throw tomahawk? I just got a hawk and block this weekend! I'm practiseing EVERY day!

Not alot, though I do have a rifleman's hawk and my trail hawk finally came.

Hey fonly why don't you do an axe review, like the trailhawk that you just got and another axe I know you have. That would be cool. Cool

I threw a tomahawk once and got bullseye. I remember you had to let it just like fly out of your hand and move your arm straight down when you throw.

I got both for free. I got the hawk as a prize for a competition and because this one guys is very generous. And I got the block for free because the couple that I stay with is very generous. A hawk will normally range 20-45$ and a Block you could make.

To get one whole rotation you take 7 steps from the target. I tried 14 steps and messed up big so I didn't try again!

What is the proper technique for tomahawk throwing?

It depends on the thrower, take five steps from your target and Try to throw it to make it hit after on complete revolution. If it doesnt work at 5 steps back, find the distance that works from you.

7 steps is for a full rotation.
