Looking for a decently priced multi-day back pack before this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions?

Something from Maxpedition would be my best guess. I've wanted one of them for a while now, but just never got around to ordering one of the internet.

Cool new Pack time.
Well i will suggest ASOLO for a great pack. I have 4 packs from ASOLO.
They are not expensive, mid priced. They have great support when you have it full. Internal aluminum back support
which makes it fit your back very well. My fishing buddy was looking for a day pack, i told him check out the ASOLO
& he bought a nice day pack, 33 litre. Worth looking at if you dont want to spend hundreds of dollars on a pack but still get a really good pack IMO.

Thanks guys. I've already got a real nice day pack that I got for over $30 less the original price from REI, but I was thinking I might need a multi-day pack. You know to carry pots&pans, a tent, and some other essentials.

Well, I went out and bought a new pack at REI today during lunch.... As well as a tent, a matchbox, and a water proof match tube, with flint on the bottom that won't start my matches. Also bought a new knife, and some poison oak/ivy wash. Oh yea and I also returned my North Face day pack with the banana smell still inside it, hehe.
Will post pics later.

It's a Buck 119 Special.. "Bucks sharpest knife ever".
I looked it up, but the 119 special is supposed to be a sheath only. The knife itself is a little over 10" long, and it came with the sheath that has the fresh new leather smell. I love it.
edit-- You know what, since I'm at the office right now, and got nothing else to do, I'll post pics in a few.

Great choice Bob. I have the same one. Ive had mine for about 3 years. I pack it with me only on long day hikes
in couger & bear country. Thats all i use it for, i have other knifes for working. The Buck is for defence
Cheers.

Cool man.. Yea I figure I'll be using my multi-tool more than anything. I'll just have the Buck for other issues.. like a black bear. Theres been a problem with one of the bears in WV(where I'm going). He's bluff rushed a hiker 5x's, ripped into somebodys tent while they were in it, and has been rummaging through state park trash cans. A little nervous, but I'll be with a friend who I'll most likely be able to throw towards the bear.

Everything, in the kitchen alot actually. Its a very nice knife. Nice slick package, fits well on the belt and looks good. Its doesn't have much field time, but it works well for whittling, and is an awsome slicer.
