The Leatherman e307, I am wondering if I should I get this, it's at MEC for $55 CDN, I want a folding knife because I just realized, I don't live near a forest or anything like that so going in the bush would mean driving for about 45 minutes there. Buying a fixed cold steel or a fixed SOG would mean spending $70 and up. I don't think it would be a good investment right now so I'm looking at some good folders like this:

Any suggestions and comments are welcome. Thanks for reading.

yep, very true... and with a good knife it seems easy to develop a connection with it, as you use it.

The Leatherman looks like a good choice, Sman. Ya can't go wrong with them. Wink

I have a very similar knife but without any extras and with a 1/2 serrated 1/2 normal blade. I would day buy it because for the cost I say it's the best knife I have bought in years.

Good for EDC...... Shocked that's not really what I was going for......I guess Im off to look at knives on the internet, I was going for a bush knife or even a multi-tool. Something like a Buck folding hunter or a Leatherman wave (replace my old one) Wink
