Survival when injured, or disabled, or elderly |
|
I have not seen any discussion about how one is able to work out survival when injured, or disabled, or if one is elderly.
I have seen some good videos about tough old men and what they accomplished. I also know of Gradma Gatewood who walked the appalachain trail when she was in her 60s.
Anyone have stories, or ideas?

We talked about this a while ago, though I think it was over on the survivor man forum before it went down. Things like, chances are if your going to have a hand injury, its going to be your stong hand. So trying things with your other hand is a good thing to pratice.

Well, in regards to what Fonly mentioned about being able to use both hands, Ambidextrous.
Being a drummer you have to be able to do the same thing with both arms, hands. Not all drummers can.
There for limiting there diversity.
A good thing to help improve useing your left hand/side is to do simple things like, brushing your teeth with your left.
use your keys to open the car door with your left, grabing things with your left, etc.
Its a good menteal excersice.
