Anyone eaten ants? Man they are good lol. Most of them have a nice tang if you chew um. And they are a great source of protein.

I had a chocolate covered grass hopper along time ago, pretty much like a chocolate covered peanut Smile

Not on purpose but a few didn't make it through some picnics. You might like the ones we have here in Florida, fire ants have to be like hot peppers. Twisted Evil

Ouch! I remember getting bit by a few of those when I was in Alabama years ago. Nasty, painful lil' buggers!

They're in Florida also? Didn't know that.

Oh i forgot, I have eatin lots of ants, I went onto a beach and made a fire on the beach, I was planning to eat hotdogs so obviously I had hotdog buns with me, I had left the bag open and ants got in. My friend that was with me noticed and didn't tell me so when I took a bite i had a mouthfull of ants. I didn't notice until after i finished because then I looked in the bag and....ANTS ANTS ANTS. I didn't notice the taste changing so they must have not tasted that bad themselves.
