There are left handed bows & right handed bows, Yes ! it makes a Huge differance.
My friend is right handed so he bought a right handed bow just to find out that he shots left handed !? Shocked .
So now he has a bow he cant shoot.
Im right handed & shoot right handed so the " shelf " would be on the left side of the bow riser.
And the reverse for left handed shooter, the shelf is on the right side of the riser. Cool

OK, what i thought. I saw a bow last night at an auction DREWL DREWL DREWL it was BEAUTIFUL it had a few scratches but could have been cleaned up, i bid up to 23 on it and quit but i shouldnt have. I just wasnt sure if it was right for me or not. I am right handed but shoot left, weird. But anyway i am looking to get a bow but i dont want to spend too much so im keeping my eyes out.

be sure to take draw weight and length into consideration when bidding at an auction for a bow. not only does it have to be the correct hand for you it has to fit you as well.
