Even though this aired a while back, I saw it for the first time yesterday. Kentucky Bob sent me a tape since it only aired in the USA.

I thought it was well done for what he had to work with. Sure it was a little cheesy but there was some good stuff in there.

Like the candle was very cool.

I talked to Les about it he said it wasnt exacally what he wanted but it was still good.

I just think its hard to cover 3 situations in an hour or 45 minutes because of commericals...

If you watch it, the tree part was funny.

A branch flys through the window

Did it seem he was doing some of the stuff just to show not what to do? Like lay down next to the candle and almost catch blanket on fire, forget to plug up the tub, ect. It seems like he dropped a lot more stuff in just the flooded house part than on the whole first season of Survivorman too.
And yeah the tree branch was kinda funny.

Yes, I think he was pointing out the potential common mistakes that can be made that make a bad situation REALLY BAD...

FYI Wal-Mart's now carry season 1 on DVD with a bonus disc of Surviving Urban Disasters. I bought it for $16. The DVD set is put out by Discovery Channel.
