Bandaid "Silver" and Polysporin Complete |
|
Hey Guys...
A couple of days ago my oldest son did a Face Plant into our gravel covered lane and had multiple cuts, scraps and an actualy puncture from a stone on his chin..
He was pretty messed up and actually fractured a finger in the process...
Well a trip to the drug store and over $50 in first aid supplies later..... LOL
I noticed they had some bandaids with actualy silver in them....
I'm a big believer of silvers qualities and properties in healing,, so I bought them...
I also bough some Polysporin complete...
I put the Silver bandaid with just a dab of polysporin on his chin and used normal bandaids on his elbow and knee..
The injury that had the silver bandaid was much better the next day then the others that didn't have silver..
Very good product and I highly suggest them..
The Polysporin complete is also an Excellent product....
He's healing up pretty good and the bandaids will come off for good in a few days....
On a funny side note...
I called my doctor's office just as they were closing.. The doctor was already there over 30 mins after they were closed,,so he was quite eager to get home...
He was getting ready to give my son stictches,, but when he came near him with the freezing needle,, he wouldn't hold still..The doctor not impressed said he'ds be ok without stitches,,and may be a little more scarring...
This is what freaked me out...
He basically asked me if I had basic first aid.. I said "Oh ya,, sure".. He says good..
Pushes the first aid cart over to me,, and says "Help Yourself" and went home.. LOL
Nurse comes in while I'm working on my boy and asked where the Dr. went.. I said he went home and he told me to patch up my boy... LOL
Nurse laughed and left...
When we finally left the nurses were sitting in the office waiting for me to finish up....
I'm now kicking myself for not bringing my pack....
He did say "Help Yourself" and there was a Ton of good first aid stuff on that cart!!!
