Thats because i'm such a funny guy.

But in all honesty these stoves are great. if you got a really big pot you an use three of them, it boils super fast.

Yeah, when mine kept going out when I sent my pot on top, I used three and it worked. Very Happy

I have something to confess. I didn't make just one. I made over a dozen. Embarassed

Did you use a Longneck can or just a normal pop can?

I used 2 kinds.

Regular.

And the kind that are still the same just taller, but the top and bottom are the same proportions.

Well, when I first got my denatured alcohol, I poured a little bit into a pan and lit it just to observe how it burns.(so it wouldn't surprise me when I put it in the stove)

Yes, if I were you I would prefer to use a lighter like that.

And I wouldn't recommend lighting the first one you make, either. Make a few and then light some fuel in the best one. You'll just be wasting fuel on a crappy stove if you do it in the first one.

Good luck. Very Happy

P.S. After you pour your fuel, close the fuel can and set it at least 6 feet away.(10 would be better, just to be sure) Then it is safe to light the stove.

^ well you can waste a little fuel, it's cheap enough. About $11 for a gallon. It would take a long time to go through a gallon. Surprised

My safety tip: Alcohol burns invisible, so be very careful. You should hear a poof when you light it, and look at the shadow you'll see fumes.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. Do it outside after dark. The flame of denatured alcohol burns light blue. Cool
