Hey everyone, I'm new to the board here. I am not sure if anyone else has seen this or posted it but I thought this would be a helpful link about the air date of Survivorman Season 2.
http://corporate.discovery.com/brands/discoverychannel.html
Scroll down to the middle or end of the page and it states that they will start airing Survivorman Season 2 on Fridays at 9:00 ET in August.

Returning series airs Fridays at 9 PM (ET/PT) beginning in August
No food, no shelter, no fresh water -- just one man, alone in the wild for seven days, with only his wits and stamina to sustain him. In each episode of SURVIVORMAN survival expert Les Stroud finds himself abandoned in a remote location with little more than the clothes on his back — and his cameras. Les must not only survive for a week with no supplies, but he must also film everything himself, dragging 50 pounds of camera gear and batteries every inch of the way. Armed with a unique one-person camera rig and an abundance of wry humor, Les documents his struggles to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles in diverse climates and terrains. This season, viewers get an inside look at what it's like to survive in the Amazon jungle, the Kalahari desert, the African Plains, Australia, Alaska and Labrador off the coast of Canada. | I'm lookin forward to the Alaska one

I was thinking with the interesting flora and fauna of New Zealand, it would be an excellent pick for an episode. Well if he does another season I hope he considers this locale.
