what do you hunt your grouse with i use a 410 shot gun mostly but sometimes a .22

around here it is illegal to use any single projectile firearm to take a grouss. I use my Browning BPS in 12 ga.

12 ga is the way to go
I think I use #6 shot
12ga FTW (for the win)

i like it although its not strong enough for some chickens i was PO one time i went back to the sand pits chicken hunting and there are some monster chickens there they are like as big as duck haha anyway one was sitting up in a tree and i was almost right under him and shot with the 410 and it just flew away i was like WTF lol but i have never been able to get close enough to these things to get one they are so big lol that was the only time i got close enough to get one and it didnt even wing him or nothin he just brushed it off and flew away i couldnt believe it lol so maybe the 12 ga is the way to go for some of them lol

with the full choke and propper shooting all it does is tear the heads off them

lol ya i have done that lots before lol
was attacked by a chicken once lol i didnt think it was very funny at the time but my dad and my bro-in-law were laughing there A$$es off the damn thing was beating me with its wings and scratching me with its feet so i grabbed it and swung it around by the head until his head fell off :S lol but it must have been pretty funny to see if you were my bro in law or my dad lo
