Here in Ontario, Lake Huron is separated from Georgian Bay by the Bruce Peninsula. It's largely wilderness, and I have spent a lot of time there. The original name of the Bruce Peninsula was Saugeen, after the Indians who first inhabited it. European settlers decided it should be renamed after some Scotsman named Bruce. I thought "Saugeen Survivor" sounded better than "Bruce Survivor".
