As I am guilty of running away with peoples posts in this section and going way off topic I figured a general knife discussion thread was needed. Post away!!

i usually use my folding exacto knife for the mag stick, it was mainly out of curiosity. Do they come with a sheath (i'd assume not), and if so what do yea suggest I get?

They come with a cheap little one, I strongly sugest a sheath from Eric aka Normark. He makes some awsome sheaths.

I don't know about a knife that fits that bill, but I love my Moras, and the Glock field knife. It has a saw on the back for cutting wood.

PS it also has a bottle opener for after the shelter is made. Wink Laughing

Ask Fonly about his SOG Revolver and look up some reviews... its not perfect and its not for everybody, but I have one and its a pretty cool survival knife, IMHO. Its light and versitile, but its not a big chopper like some prefer... The SAK Rucksack is a small folder, but it has a combo serated and straight blade that is atypical but very handy. I have few moras as well - and they are very crafty all around knives - most are carbon steel, so they do spark but are also prone to rust and need often a quick sharpening, but they get wicked sharp and serve well when taken care of.

Hazey Said it the best, I would give my master hunter up in a second to have my revolver back. My Revolver and Sak Rucksack would cover anything you need, and having the revolver no need for chopping as you can just saw. Very Happy

Its just the OH models that have a combo blade, the rucksack has a plain blade and a saw.

Though their both awsome! Laughing
