I stopped most of my hunting many years ago, for various reasons (including needing to sell my guns for tuition Laughing), but I kept a Browning Belgian-made 12g over/under that my father gave me for clays, and quail hunting.
Nowadays, I mainly fish.

Lots of sentimental value with this shotgun. I'll never part with it. I love shooting it, fits me perfectly.

This most of my gear. This was everything I took (plus a .44 revolver, and a bow) for a week long bow hunt. I hiked everything I needed for one week, including water, food, and gear. Totally it weighed in at just under 40 pounds, not including the pistol, and bow. Laughing It's the Badlands 2200 pack, +4 degree sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and one man tent. I didn't get anything, but it was the best week I think I have ever had! I would wake up with antelope feeding near by, and as long as I didn't walk towards them they didn't seem to care I was there. Cool

I only use that gear when I really have to, other wise I like having a large camp with nice roomy tents, but the pack is always with me.

sorry man, that one was given to me by the same neighbor as the .303 (really bothering me that i can't remember the make right now and i'm too lazy to take it outta the lockers). Once that neighbor passes (he is an old guy) I already have a buyer for it.

that bolt action winchester .22 was made between 1936 and 1939 and has no cerial numbers or markings. When i registered it i had to give a ton of detail information on the physical atributes of the gun.

all it does is let them know who has what so that when they outlaw certain types (semi-auto will probably be a target for being added to the prohibited firearms list in my life time i think) of rifles that they will know which citizens have them. All it does is find out which guns are bought legally. There is no way to stop illegal weapons from being owned and used without catching each and every owner red handed.

i aint shook tho, I can't see the government ever outlawing bolt or single shot firearms, i really don't think they'd even go so far as to outlaw pump actions. At the end of the day i'd still have all but 1 of my guns and all that would mean is I have a real reason to buy the marlin 983S .22mag that i've been eyeballing for years. When I bought my shotgun the guy had one in his store, i almost bought it too but didn't have enough cash on me. here is a pic of that beauty.
