Heres some Pics and a crappy Video
The Strike Force fire starter comes with a block of wet fire tinder.
It will burn even when it's wet.

I'm not familiar with Canadian Tire... but from what I hear from you guys, that place has EVERYTHING!
Would it be similar to Wal-Mart in the U.S.?

I'm going to try to locate some of that Wet Fire Tinder. Sounds like good stuff to have in a fire kit.

Hey, these are supposed to be the same thing as the Wet Fire Tinder but a lot cheaper and bigger:
I haven't tried them yet.

I've had this stuff for a long while, but I finally lit one the other day. It worked fantastically!
I even had it burning in a puddle in the rain like it said.
It says trade secret on the ingredients, but I know it is petroleum based just by the behavior and odor of the tablet. When you touch it with anything(finger, piece of metal), it behaves like gasoline(spreads out).
I keep a couple in my pack at all times.
Go buy some today!

Yeah, it would be a great thing to have in such a rainy place as Washington.
The cubes are about an inch long. Keep a couple in your pack. When you want to start a fire, just break one in half(half is plenty to start a fire) and crumble it. One spark and you have fire.
If you haven't already, take a look around Basegear's website. They have a lot of good gear at awesome prices. You might find something you need. It's where I buy most of my gear at.
